Peanut Butter Ball Tips:

  • You can use any nut butters for this recipe. Almond butter, cashew butter, etc…
  • Make sure the balls are chilled before dipping.
  • We love these Chocolate Dipping Tools, but you can always use a fork for dipping. A toothpick will also work. Expect a bit of a mess, but it will work.
  • You can melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30- second increments, or over a double boiler.
  • You can use chunky peanut butter instead of creamy if you prefer. We also like to add in Rice Krispies sometimes for some texture.
  • Add any type of holiday sprinkles, chopped peanuts, sea salt or whatever you prefer. It’s all good!

The Peanut Butter Balls look so good, I came to the website. You list either Veggie Oil or Coconut oil in the Recipe, but you never said how it could be used as an option. Could it be to drop in the chocolate to give the coating a shine??

    1. Jill says:

Hi Karen. It can be used in the chocolate. It helps with the consistency and adds a little shine to the chocolate.

This recipe sounds really good and really easy. I seen that you put vegetable. Oil or Coconut oil, but I didn’t see it in the directions. Could you use Canola oil or Olive oil instead. Or can you leave it out all together ?

    1. Jill says:

Hi Pamela. The oil is for the chocolate. It helps with the consistency and adds a little shine to the chocolate. Canola oil would work or you can omit if you prefer.
