How to Make Sherbet Punch
This recipe is so ridiculously easy to make! The printable instructions can be found in the recipe card below.
- Add the liquids. Add the entire bottom of lemon lime soda to a bowl. Add the fruit punch and give it a stir.
- Add the sherbet. Use an ice cream scoop to scoop out the entire container of sherbet into the bowl.
- Enjoy. Allow the punch to foam a bit then serve.
Tips & Variations
Here are a few things to keep in mind when making sherbet punch.
- Try other sherbet flavors. You can use any kind of sherbet to make this like raspberry sherbet, strawberry, orange, lime, etc… Play around with flavors!
- Add some fruit. Adding slices of lemon, lime, strawberries, oranges and raspberries add to the fun and flavor!
- Chill the liquids. Pre-chilling the punch and soda will help keep the sherbet from melting too fast.
- Freeze scoops of sherbet. Scooping the sherbet ahead of time and freezing on a foil or parchment lined baking sheet will help it hold its shape longer.
- Add some booze. For adult parties, feel free to pour in some alcohol like vodka.
Can This Be Made In Advance?
Since the sherbet will melt as it sits at room temperature, it’s best to make this sherbet punch right before serving. It only takes a few seconds! However, as noted above, you can pre-scoop the sherbet and freeze the scoops.
