Made for the weekly family gathering and they were delish! So simple to make and they tasted just like an apple fritter! Will try the cream cheese filling with apple pie filling on top next! This recipe is a definite keeper!!

  2. I used the jumbo cinnamon rolls, put them in a big muffin pan. I mix up some crumble and put it on top of each. Bake at 375* for 26 mins. Put cream cheese icing after baked. Yummy.

    1. These have been a success in my household, between hubbster and toddler, but I was wondering if you had any recommendations on reheating?

I had stumbled across this recipe before and bookmarked it, since my house of worship will occasionally have pot lucks. Last month I found out one was planned for just this passed Sunday. Saturday I bought 4 cans of cinnamon rolls and 3 cans of apple pie filling. There were over 40 people planning to go, but I knew we had members that were either diabetic or gluten intolerant, so I planned on making 32. I did make 32. I tried one to see how they tasted and I was ecstatic. However, I wanted to make sure I wasn’t fooling myself, so I had my 24 year old son try one. He liked it, too!

I took the remaining 30 with me. I came home with 4. I was asked about how to make them and I did pass it along, including giving one lady a link to this page so she’d see where I got it.

    Thank You!

That’s the first time I’ve taken anything to a pot luck and it was great that people enjoyed it!

These were soooo easy to make. It was harder opening the cinnamon rolls than it was making these. And they are soooo good too. Did with whipped cream topping instead. Didn’t have any left overs either

  6. Is there any way to do this camping over a fire? I’m thinking foil over top and place over indirect fire but have no clue how long or if this would even work.
