We teamed up with King’s Hawaiian Bread & created these fun Reindeer Sloppy Joe Sliders for a fun Christmas Party idea! This is a really simple idea that you can create in just minutes and the kids will love it!
Let’s not forget to mention that my boys were quite bothered when they noticed that we left out 2 reindeer that are extremely important!ha SO…make sure to add the 2 missing reindeer when making this fun Christmas idea! 🙂
Reindeer Sloppy Joe Sliders
1 pound ground turkey
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons brown mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 King’s Hawaiian rolls, split
Decorating ingredients…cherry tomatoes, black olives, white sliced cheese, raisins, pretzel twists
Directions
In a large saucepan, cook turkey over medium heat until no longer pink, drain. Stir in the ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Place your Sloppy Joe Sliders on a platter. Cut the tips off of the black olives & cut the tomato in half. Place the tomato half on the reindeer in the front (Rudolph). Place the black olive tips on the other rolls for reindeer noses using a toothpick to secure if needed.
Cut out small circles from the white cheese slice using a round icing tip. Place them on the front of the sliders for eyes. Cut raisins in half for the pupils. Break the pretzel twists in half and place them in the top sides for the antlers.
Here is a close up of Rudolph…
Most kids love Sloppy Joes & this has always been my boys favorite recipe (they are picky). Hawaiin King’s roll are also a favorite with kids so these are sure to be a huge hit at your next family Christmas gathering!

Hi! Love these – planning on making them for a christmas party saturday night. 1 question – how did you get the cheese to stick for the eyes? toothpicks there as well? Im nervous it will break the cheese, but without it wont stick. Thank you!
