Nutter Butter Brownies

These Nutter Butter brownies are truly stuffed with a good amount. This recipe is full of semi-sweet and regular chocolate chips with peanut butter and chopped nutter butters. Ingredients

  • Butter- Use unsalted butter to control the amount of salt in the recipe.
  • Canola Oil- Use vegetable oil as a substitute if you need to.
  • Sugar- This sugar is always used in the best recipes.
  • Brown Sugar- This will allow a richer flavor.
  • Vanilla Extract- Use pure vanilla for the best flavoring.
  • Eggs- Use the eggs at room temperature.
  • Flour- Use all-purpose flour for the best results.
  • Cocoa Powder- This will be used in the making of the brownie batter.
  • Salt- This will bring out the flavors in the recipe.
  • Chocolate Chips- You will need semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips for this recipe.
  • Peanut Butter- This will be another additional piece of the peanut butter flavor.
  • Nutter Butters- These will need to be chopped for this recipe.
  • Heavy Whipping Cream- This will help with the consistency of the ganache.

How to Make Nutter Butter Brownies

Take out our nutter butter and chop them up, then set aside.

Set the oven to 350 degrees and use pam to grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.

Add the butter into a medium bowl and melt.

Add the butter, oil, and sugars into a large bowl and combine.

Mix in the eggs and 2 tsp of vanilla.

Add the flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder into another large bowl and combine.

Slowly combine both wet and dry ingredients.

Add in the chocolate chips and use a spatula to fold in.

All the batter ingredients into a bowl.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and add some scoops of peanut butter into the brownie batter.

Mixing the peanut butter in with the brownie batter.

Add half of the nutter butter into the batter by sprinkling it on top.

Half of the chopped Nutter butters on top of the brownie batter.

Place the baking dish in the oven to bake for 25-30 minutes or until a tester placed in the center comes out clean.

Take out and allow it to cool thoroughly.

Chocolate Ganache ingredients

Add the heavy cream into a small pot and bring to a boil

In a medium bowl, add the chocolate chips.

Pour the heated cream over top and allow to sit for about a minute.

Mix the chocolate with a whisk until smooth.

Add the ganache into a piping bag.

Scoop about 1/4 cup of the leftover peanut butter and place in a bowl to melt in the microwave for 20-30 seconds.

Using a second piping bag, add in the mixture.

Cut the tips off the end of the piping bags.

Begin to drizzle the contents in the piping bags all over the brownies and add some chopped nutter butter on top with some chocolate chips.

Slice into bars and Enjoy!

Can I Use Any Peanut Butter Cookie For These?

You can choose to use any peanut butter you wish. Using creamy will help with a softer and chewier flavor. You could also add crunchy peanut butter to add even more texture to the recipe than it already has.

What Additions Can Go Into This Batter?

You can add whatever additions to this recipe that you see fit. Adding salty ingredients will blend well, like pretzels. Or you can add caramel bits for more variety.

Instructions

  • Chop the package of nutter butter and set it aside
  • Preheat oven to 350 and spray a 9x13 baking pan with pam baking spray
  • Using a medium bowl, melt the butter
  • Using a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, oil, and sugars
  • Whisk in the eggs and 2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • Using a large bowl whisk together the flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder
  • Gradually whisk in the dry ingredients into the wet
  • Fold in the chocolate chips
  • Pour batter into the baking pan and drop dollops of peanut butter into the brownie batter
  • Sprinkle half of the chopped nutter butter onto the top of the brownie batter
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
  • Allow cooling completely

Chocolate Ganache ingredients

  • Using a small pot, bring the heavy cream to a boil
  • Pour over the chocolate chips in a medium bowl and let sit for 1 minute
  • Whisk until smooth
  • Scoop the ganache into the piping bag
  • Using the remaining peanut butter, scoop ¼ C of the peanut butter into a bowl and melt in the microwave for 20-30 seconds
  • Scoop into the second piping bag
  • Cut the tips off the piping bags
  • Drizzle both the melted peanut butter and ganache over the brownies and sprinkle the chopped nutter butter and mini chocolate chips on top
  • Cut into bars and enjoy!
