Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Orange juice concentrate – add the concentrate to the blender while it’s still frozen.
  • Water – it’s best to use cold water for this recipe.
  • Whole milk – whole milk gives the drink just the right creaminess but you can use skim milk as well.
  • Ice cubes – the ice cubes will thicken the shake and ensure that it’s nice and cold.
  • Granulated sugar – white sugar adds the perfect sweetness to the shake.
  • Vanilla extract – a little vanilla perfects this homemade recipe. We used pure vanilla extract.

  1. I use powdered eggs too. And I’ve been known to use a whole egg. We did it in my time, so I see no reason we can’t do it now.

  2. 5 stars
I made mine clean and didn’t add any sugar. Instead, use frozen pineapple chunks. For extra protein, a scoop or two of plain yogurt gives some added protein! Yum yum and guilt free!
