Strawberry Margarita Bread

This Strawberry Margarita Bread is so good! The color of this bread is created by adding in Bud Light Straw-ber-rita beer ingredients. This recipe is baked and then, topped with a delicious lime glaze. Ingredients

  • Flour- You will need self-rising flour for the best results.
  • Sugar- Every dessert-style recipe uses sugar as an ingredient.
  • Beer- You will need Bud Light Strawberita.
  • Butter- Use unsalted butter to control the salt in the recipe.
  • Powdered Sugar- This sugar is the best for homemade icing.
  • Lime Zest- Be sure to zest your lime before juicing them.
  • Lime Juice- Use fresh lime juice for the best flavoring.

How to Make Margarita Bread

Start by setting the oven to 350 degrees. Then, use Pam baking spray to grease 2, 9-inch loaf pans.

Next, add the flour and sugar into a large bowl and whisk to combine.

Add the beer into the dry mixture and combine until smooth.

Then, separate the batter into the two prepared pans.

Next, add 1/4 c of butter onto both of the pans.

After, place the prepared pans into the oven and bake for 60 minutes or until you place a toothpick into the middle and it comes out clean.

Finally, remove the pans from the oven and transfer them to a cooling rack to cool thoroughly.

Once cooled take the loaves out of the pans and put them back onto the wire rack.

Lime Glaze ingredients

Place the powdered sugar, lime zest, and lime juice into a medium bowl and whisk to combine until smooth.

Next, add the glaze into a squeeze bottle and drizzle on top of the bread.

Allow the glaze to set and harden before slicing.

Does Strawberry Bread Need a Glaze?

Ingredients
  

  • 6 C self - rising flour
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 24 oz Bud Light Strawberita beer
  • 1/2 C unsalted butter melted and divided

Lime Glaze ingredients

  • 1 1/2 C powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp lime zest
  • 1/4 C fresh lime juice

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray 2 9in loaf pans with pam baking spray
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and sugar until combined
  • Pour in the straw-ber-ita into the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth
  • Divide the batter into the two loaf pans
  • Pour 1/4 C of the melted butter onto each of the loaf pans
  • Bake in the oven for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
  • Place onto a wire rack to cool completely before removing from loaf pans and placing onto the wire rack

Lime Glaze ingredients

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, lime zest, and lime juice until combined and smooth
  • Pour into the squeeze bottle
  • Drizzle over the loaves and allow to harden before enjoying
