These simple 4th of  July Cake Mix cookies are a delicious choice too.

Ingredients

  • White cake mix- You can also use a yellow cake mix if you can not find a white cake mix.
  • Eggs- Use room temperature eggs for the best results.
  • Vegetable oil- Canola oil can be used too.
  • Mix ins – I like to use red and blue sprinkles. More choices are white chocolate chips and red and blue chocolate candies.

Can I Freeze 4th Of July Cookies?

You can freeze these 4th of July cookies in one of 2 ways. You can make the cookie batter and then freeze it as a whole batch or scooped into cookies or you can make the cookies and then freeze the baked cookies. Be sure to store the batter or the baked cookies in an airtight container or in a freezer bag. I like to free the cookies in small batches so I can take a few out at a time.

Can I Use Any Cake Mix For These?

You can use any cake for these cookies. I like to use the white mix because it lets the red, white and blue sprinkles shine. I also do not have a favorite brand when it comes to making cake mix cookies.
