How To Make Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Christmas Trees

You can make mini, medium, and large using the regular chocolate or the white chocolate cups.

  • Place a mini white chocolate cup upside down on your work surface.
  • Add a dot of white icing on top. Then add your chocolate miniature cup.
  • Add another dot of icing then your mini chocolate cup on top.
  • Put another dot of icing and then add a chocolate chip on top.
  • Squeeze your icing around the outside from the bottom ending at the top.
  • Add your sprinkles on the icing.
  • Then add your sprinkle star on the very top.
  • Let that set for about 5 to 10 minutes.

Variations & Tips

Use a variety of Reese’s. There are a few different Reese’s options at the stores and you can use any of them. We used milk chocolate and white chocolate. Dark chocolate Reese’s would also be a great idea!

Decorating. Any icing or sprinkles will work from colored or basic chocolate icing. Melted chocolate or candy melts will also work well. Let the kids pick out what they want and have them create!

Hershey Kisses. We have found that these are the best option for topping the tree because it comes to a point. However, feel free to use any pointed candy that you find.

Wrapped Candy Christmas Trees

If you’re looking for the easiest Christmas treat that still delivers the cuteness, then this simple Reese’s candy Christmas trees are for you. Leaving the wrappers on is a great idea for gift giving or even stocking stuffers.

  • Glue together a golden wrapped Rolo and Mini Reese’s.
  • Repeat with another Reese’s mini and top with a Hershey Kiss.

Instructions

For Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Christmas Trees

  • Place a mini white chocolate cup upside down on your work surface. Add a dot of white icing on top. Then add your chocolate miniature cup.
  • Add another dot of icing then your mini chocolate cup on top. Put another dot of icing and then add a chocolate chip on top. Squeeze your icing around the outside from the bottom ending at the top.
  • Add your sprinkles on the icing. Then add your sprinkle star on the very top. Let that set for about 5 to 10 minutes.

For Wrapped Candy Christmas Trees

  • Preheat your glue gun.
  • Start by putting glue on top of a Rolo, with the small, flat end pointing up. Immediately sit a mini Reese’s on the glue, with the smaller, flat end pointing up. Hold it down until the glue is set (a couple of seconds is fine).
  • Put glue on top of the Reese’s that you just glued to the Rolo, and put another mini Reese’s on top of it, facing the same way. Press and hold for a few seconds to set the glue.
  • Put glue on top of the Reese’s you just glued and place a Kiss right on top of it. Hold it down for a few seconds. Put a small dab of glue on the back, middle of the bows, and place them on the crease where the last Reese’s and Kiss meet. Press and hold into place for a few seconds.
