Reese's Peanut Butter Turkey

We were having fun with our Halloween candy the other day and came up with this fun Reese’s Peanut Butter Turkey! Reese’s peanut butter cups are my favorite candy ever and I always go through my boys candy after trick or treating collecting all of them since they have to pay their candy taxes for me walking them around the neighborhood!:) I try to leave them a couple since Reese’s is their favorite as well. This fun turkey treat was very easy to make and would be cute to make for Thanksgiving class parties or just a fun Fall treat for the kids!

Reese’s Peanut Butter Turkey
(makes 1)

1 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup
1 Small Package of Reese’s Pieces
2 Large Pretzel Twists( we like Snyder’s)
1 Whoppers Candy (Hershey)
Chocolate & Red Sprinkles
Chocolate & White Cookie Frosting (Betty Crocker)

We first broke our 2 pretzel twists and used 4 of the broken off pieces. We set them on the sides and then glued the Reese’s pieces on the tops using the chocolate cookie frosting. Let that dry on wax paper. Then attach them on the back side of the Reese’s peanut butter cup using the chocolate cookie frosting and let that dry. You could also use pretzel sticks for this. We attached a Whopper candy in the middle of the Reese’s peanut butter cup on with the cookie frosting. We broke a orange and yellow Reese’s pieces in half and used the orange halves for the feet and a yellow half for the beak. We made 2 eyes with the white cookie frosting and used 2 chocolate sprinkles to make the pupils. We attached a red sprinkle next to the beak for the wattle.

Here is a side view….
