Here are a couple of fun dessert recipes using Ritz cracks: Rolo Stuffed Ritz Crackers and Ritz Cracker Thin Mints.
Ingredients You’ll Need
- Ritz Crackers: You can use on-brand or store-bought crackers for this recipe.
- Ham: You will use sliced deli ham and swiss cheese.
- Glaze Mixture: You will combine Worcestershire, Dijon mustard, butter, onion powder, and poppy seed.
How To Make Ritz Cracker Sandwiches
- Set the oven to 350 degrees. On a large baking sheet, place half of the crackers. Cut the cheese into the size of the crackers and arrange it on top of each cracker. Repeat with the deli ham. Place another cracker on top.
- Put the butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and poppy seeds into a small bowl and combine with a spoon until fully incorporated.
- Place on top of each of the crackers before putting them in the oven for 8-10 minutes until melted and lightly browned. Serve right away and enjoy!
Variations For Ritz Cracker Sandwiches:
You can use some of the options below if you want to try something different.
- Use other cheeses – like cheddar or mozzarella instead of Swiss cheese.
- Change the meat – you can use roast beef, chicken or turkey lunch meat.
- Mustard – If you don’t like Dijon mustard, you can use regular yellow mustard or spicy brown mustard.
- Crackers – Any crackers will work for this recipe, but we suggest a buttery cracker for best results.
Storing
- Place any leftovers in an airtight container or Ziplock bag for the best storage method.
- You can place them in the fridge, but the crackers may become soggy, so it’s best to eat them as soon as possible.
