Ingredients
- Butter- Use unsalted butter to control the amount of salt in the recipe.
- Sugar- Every great dessert recipe uses sugar as an ingredient.
- Egg- Use this at room temperature.
- Vanilla- Use the pure extract for the best flavoring.
- Flour- Use all-purpose for the best results.
- Salt- This will bring out the flavors in your recipe.
- Baking Soda- This will allow the cookies to rise in the oven.
- Milk- Use whole or 2% milk.
- Strawberry Ice Cream Hershey’s Kisses– These will add a fun twist to these cookies
- Sprinkles- I like to finish these cookies with fun pastel sprinkles that match the kisses.
How to Make Strawberry Kiss Cookies
Here’s how to make a batch of sweet Strawberry Kiss cookies in no time! Scroll down to the recipe card for printable instructions.

- Combine the wet ingredients. Add the butter and sugar into a large bowl and combine until fluffy. Now, add in the egg and vanilla and mix to combine.
- Add the dry ingredients. Next, mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt.

- Form the cookie dough. After, use a cookie dough scoop to portion out the dough and use your hands to roll it into balls. If you’re using sprinkles, roll the dough into the sprinkles. Arrange the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Bake. Place the baking sheet into a 350ºF oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are light brown.
- Add the Kisses. Take the cookies out of the oven and press one of the chocolate kisses in the center of the cookies right away. To finish, allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet and then transfer to a cooling rack. Enjoy!
Do I need to chill the cookie dough?
No, this recipe does not have you chill the dough before baking. Chilling the cookie dough is beneficial. Putting the dough in the fridge to chill will allow the dough to be easier to mold and not be as sticky.

How to Store
You will need to place the cookies into an airtight container. Leaving them at room temperature is ok if you plan on eating them quickly. Placing it in the fridge will allow for a longer shelf life, so I recommend placing it in the fridge.

Put mine in the freezer to start. Still came out flat and my kisses melted.
I made these today and while the cookies tasted good, they were flat compared to these photos. The baked dough consistency was not a usual cookie thickness. What could I have done wrong?
Sorry to hear that Nancy. Many factors can contribute to that issue, but the usual is over-creaming the butter and sugar. You can also try chilling the dough which helps as well.
Them come in small bags about 10-14 pieces. Found mine at Drugmart.
Making these for easter. My family loves my peanut butter kiss cookies so, they should love these
Please, what size cookie dough scoop is used for this recipe? Thank you.
Hi Diana. A #40 scoop or similar size will work well.
Make sure not to make the cookie balls to big or the kiss doesn’t keep it’s shape
