Ingredients

  • Butter- Use unsalted butter to control the amount of salt.
  • Cream Cheese- Use softened or room-temperature cream cheese.
  • Powdered Sugar- This will be added to the dip for a sweet flavor.
  • Brown Sugar- This will give the dip a rich flavor.
  • Vanilla Extract- Use pure vanilla for the best flavoring.
  • Salt- This will bring out the flavors in the recipe.
  • Chocolate chips- You will need to get the mini chocolate chips for this dip.

How to Make Valentine Cookie Dough Dip

Add the cream cheese and butter into a large mixing bowl and use a hand mixer to beat on low. (When the butter and cream cheese is very soft, it will be a lot easier to combine)

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened (1 stick)
  • 1 8 oz package of cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon table salt
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup holiday sprinkles

Instructions

  • Combine butter and cream cheese and mix well or beat on low with a hand mixer (the softer your butter and cream cheese are, the easier they will be to blend together).
  • Add powdered sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt and mix well.
  • Stir in mini chocolate chips and holiday sprinkles.
  • Transfer cookie dip to a holiday or decorative bowl and chill until ready to serve.

Notes

You can use a mixture of holiday sprinkles or combine several different kinds. 
I did not use food coloring in this recipe, but the sprinkles helped to add some color.
