Butter: It is best to use unsalted butter for this recipe. Using unsalted butter will give you control of the flavoring in the recipe. This will allow the rawest and natural flavor to come out in the recipe.

Granulated Sugar: In addition to adding a sweeter flavor to a pie recipe. Granulated sugar caramelizes and absorbs moisture which overall improves the texture and flavor of the pie.

Vanilla Extract: Vanilla is used not only to add an aroma to the recipe but also to enhance the flavor as well for a sweeter and more delicious recipe.

How To Make Blender Lemon Pie

Step 1. Set the oven to 350 degrees. Use a knife to cut 2 lemons into wedges and take out the seeds.

Step 2. In a blender, add all the ingredients and combine until smooth for 3-4 minutes on medium.

Step 3. Add the lemon mixture into the pre-made pie shell and smooth it evenly.

Step 4. Place into the oven for 45 minutes. Take out and allow the pie to rest to room temperature. Place cool whip on top and set in the fridge to chill for 1 hour before enjoying.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 small lemons – sliced into wedges
  • 1 Zest lemon
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter – unsalted
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 frozen pie shell – ready-made
  • 1 container Cool Whip

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350’ degrees
  • Prepare the 2 lemons by cutting them into wedges and removing all seeds.
  • Add all ingredients into the blender and blend on medium for 3-4 minutes or until smooth.
  • Pour the lemon pie mixture into the ready-made pie shell.
  • Bake for 45 minutes
  • Allow cooling to room temp
  • Top with Cool whip and chill for 1 hour.
  • Serve and enjoy
