I made the peach version with a vanilla cake mix and it turned out great. Only issue I had was after cutting butter I couldn’t get them apart to put on the cake 😀 so I will put back in frig to stiffen before handling to put on the cake. It was easy like she said so I’m not intimidated or afraid it would be like an episode of “Nailed It!”
I’ve made peach dump cake for some time now and you’ve got to slice and apply the pats of butter individually. It’s obviously the most tedious part, but definitely worth it!
I made this and it was great! The only thing I did different was add some cinnamon sugar on top before baking. Great with ice cream and it couldn’t be any easier!
This is probably a great recipe, however, it’s so hard to see in between ALL OF THE ADDS! Sorry, I know this is how you make revenue but it’s very difficult to read.
Dumpdidleyicious!!!
I split the recipe in half then added pecans to the top. Perfection. It was so good we forgot to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream. LOL!
Definitely making this one again.
This is amazing! Everyone loved it and it is so easy to make! I will be adding tgis to my go to recipe box 🙂
I made this last night. Amazing! I used Aldi white cake, caramel dip and 3 cans of their fried apples with cinnamon. I also added nutmeg, allspice and a sprinkle of ginger. Kind of dangerous because I couldn’t stop eating it! I’m glad I found this recipe!
i made this yesterday. it was good. but next time i will use a different cake mix flavor. like butter pecan.
I am thinking I’ll use chopped salted peanuts on top.
I made this cake today. Halved the recipe since its only me and hubby. Used a yellow cake Jiffy mix and for the caramel, I used a jar caramel. It was very good. Will make it again.
How much caramel sauce did you use or would you use for a full recipe
This is in my oven as we speak. I had to cut it down to half the amount because there’s only one of me. And, I found Hershey’s salted caramel chips and used those. I could have eaten the canned apples and the caramel chips uncooked! YUM Can’t wait for this to finish baking!
