Ingredients Needed

Here are the 6 ingredients you will need to make this amazing and easy recipe for Oreo fluff. These items are common and found in any local grocery store. Scroll to the recipe card for measurements and more information.

  • Milk: The colder the milk is, the quicker the pudding will set. I like to leave it in the refrigerator up until the moment I’m going to use it.
  • Instant white chocolate pudding: I love the white chocolate flavor with the Oreos and cream cheese. Feel free to use chocolate or vanilla pudding mixture if you prefer.
  • Cool Whip: This makes the Oreo fluff light and fluffy! Ensure it is fully thawed before you add it.
  • Oreo cookies: You may chop or crush the Oreos for this recipe. I find it easier to place them into a food processor for a few pulses or in a zipper bag to crush them.
  • Cream cheese: The cream cheese must be softened to achieve that perfect creamy and smooth texture. It adds richness and tangy flavor to balance the sweetness.
  • Mini marshmallows: I love the chewy contrast of the mini marshmallows in this fluff recipe.

How To Make Oreo Fluff

It takes minimal steps to prepare this Oreo fluff recipe. I like to make it a couple of hours before serving to give it plenty of time to chill. I think it tastes even better the colder it is.

  • Mix milk and pudding. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat the milk and pudding mix until they are fully mixed and the pudding is thick.
  • Add cream cheese. Beat the cream cheese into pudding until smooth.
  • Fold in Cool Whip. Gently fold in the Cool Whip until fully combined.
  • Add Oreos and marshmallows. Then, fold in the crushed Oreos and mini marshmallows.
  • Chill. Put the Oreo fluff into the refrigerator for about an hour to chill.
  • Serve. Enjoy!

Serving Ideas

  • Try Fluffernutter Cookies or Brownie Mix Cookies for extra decadent dippers. I like these cookies in particular because of the marshmallow and chocolate flavors that tie into the fluff well. Pretzels and strawberries work great, too. The salty notes of the pretzel play well with the sweetness while the brightness of the fruit helps the rich flavor.
  • Treat it like a fluffy ice cream and drizzle Butterscotch Sauce or Chocolate Syrup Recipe on top of a generous scoop of Oreo fluff. Even a dollop of whipped cream would be great! Add some mix-ins like extra chocolate chips or fun sprinkles.
  • Decorate it for your favorite holiday! Top it with red and green sprinkles for Christmas or red, white, and blue for the 4th of July. You will even find spooky sprinkles or candy eyes to decorate it for Halloween.

Proper Storage

Store leftovers tightly covered in a bowl or an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge. I do not recommend freezing the fluff as it changes the texture and it becomes watery as it thaws.
