This is also a fun treat to make for Thanksgiving class parties at school that the kids will absolutely love! You will love that these really only take just minutes to make…so easy!! For other fun Turkey themed projects, check out the Easy Turkey Cupcakes and Turkey Pretzel Treats.

I made these substituting gluten free ingredients. They came out ok!

    1. Danielle says:

Hi! If you try using the name brand crispies and Snider Brand or Glutino pretzels you would not know that they were gluten free!! Hope this helps if you make again! I’m gluten free too and I know the trials we have to go thru trying to find stuff that doesn’t taste gluten free!

  2. Miranda says:

Really cute – we only got 9 out of the rice krispie mix, but I think the 8 cups is too much like others have said. My mixture was pretty dry. And the instructions didn’t mention when to dip the entire pretzel rods so that threw off the flow. But we got it and the 9 we have will work great!

    1. Miranda says:

*meant to say that it didn’t mention dipping the entire pretzel rod in the instructions on the recipe card itself which is what I was reading. I went back and watched the video and then saw it was mentioned in the post halfway through us making it so we figured it out!

    Luv the Turkey legs

  4. Carole Lynn says:

the melted white chocolate was too thick, so I added a tablespoon of vegetable oil to thin it out, works great!

  5. Jenni says:

I just made these tonight and they turned out so cute, cant wait to see what the family thinks of them tomorrow. I ended up using the entire box of rice krispies and left the rest of the ingredients the same. I had to put the rice kirspies in the refrigerator for a little bit to cool them down and ended up getting 19 drum sticks out of the batch.

  6. Elizabeth Middleton says:

Couldn’t get the rice Krispy to stay on the pretzel rods. Not sure why.

  10. Laurie says:

How would you keep them from getting hard til Thanksgiving?

    1. Jill says:

They will be fine if you store them in an air tight container!
