Can I Make Peach Iced Tea Using Fresh Peaches?

Yes! You will need to cook the peaches first to make them soft enough to puree and proceed with directions.

  1. Cooking fresh peaches. In a medium saucepan combine 3 ripe peaches and 1.5 cups of water and bring to a boil over high heat until the peaches are soft.
  2. Puree. Transfer the cooked peaches into a blender and puree until smooth. Pour the peach puree through a fine mesh strainer to remove any clumps .

What Type of Tea Is Best?

Any black tea bags made for brewed iced tea will work well or even green tea. The brands Lipton and Luzianne each have their own special blends for iced tea and are probably the most well known, but any iced tea blend will work fine.
