This red white and blue fruit salad recipe has a mixture of fresh strawberries, apples, and blueberries that are mixed with a honey lime dressing. You’ll only need 5-ingredients including fresh fruit and a simple honey and lime dressing.

  • Apples – I prefer pink lady apples, but you can use any red apple that you prefer.
  • Strawberries – you can cut fresh strawberries into quarters or slice them.
  • Fresh Blueberries – rinsed and drained.
  • Dressing – a mixture of honey and fresh lime juice. This is totally optional, but adds a nice addition.

How To Make 4th of July Fruit Salad

Just 10-minutes of prep – So Easy!

  • Prepare the Strawberries and Blueberries. Rinse and drain the strawberries and the blueberries. Cut the strawberries into quarters and place in them in a bowl Then add the blueberries.
  • Create Apple Stars. Rinse the apples and cut into slices. Using a small star-shaped cookie cutter, cut out stars from the apple slices.
  • Make the Dressing. In a small bowl, mix together the lime juice and honey.
  • Combine. Add the star-shaped apple pieces to the bowl with the berries. Gently toss the fruit and dressing.
  • Chill and Serve. Chill the fruit salad until ready to serve.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound strawberries quartered
  • 1 pound blueberries rinsed
  • 1/8 cup honey
  • 1 lime juiced

Instructions

  • Add the Blueberries: Wash the blueberries and add them to the bowl with the strawberries. Gently toss to mix.
  • Create Apple Stars: Wash the Pink Lady apple. Using a small star-shaped cookie cutter, cut out stars from the apple slices. This step not only adds a festive touch but also makes the salad visually appealing.

Make the Dressing

  • In a small bowl, mix together the honey and lime juice.

Combine
