Christmas Chocolate Chip Cookies are packed full of bright, holiday sprinkles. This transforms your ordinary cookie recipe into a festive Christmas dessert.
Making Christmas cookies with my kids over the winter break is one of my favorite things to do. We have so many favorites like Melted Snowman Cookies, Eggnog Cookies, Hot Chocolate Cookies and Penguin Nutter Butters. This one is quickly topping the ranks as a new family favorite.

Christmas Chocolate Chip Cookies
The best cookies to me are always the ones that are moist, soft and full of chocolate. Lucky for me, this recipe hits every one of those requirements. When these are fresh out of the coven and you serve them with a glass of milk, they are heaven.
Ingredients You Will Need:
(full amounts in recipe box below)
- Butter
- Brown Sugar
- Sugar
- Vanilla
- Eggs
- Flour
- Baking soda
- Salt
- Chocolate Chips
- White Chocolate Chips
- Holiday sprinkles
How To Make Christmas Chocolate Chip Cookies
Start by combining the butter, sugars and vanilla until mixed. Then add the egg and next the rest of the dry ingredients.
Now the fun part! Fill your batter with all of your favorite holiday sprinkles and chocolate chips. You can use plain red and green or go a little crazy with the ones shaped like Christmas trees and ornaments. Or do a snow theme with blue and white. Small sprinkles or big. Get creative!
Bake them for roughly 15 minutes (longer if your cookies are larger) or until you see the edges start to brown.
This batch makes a dozen cookies. If you’re heading to a cookie exchange party or serving just the family, you may want to double or triple this recipe. To make it go further, you can also make the cookie size smaller.
You can save them for up to 5 days in an airtight container at room temperature.
Enjoy!
