Red Velvet Poke Cake Recipe

  • To make this poke cake, first you will follow along with the instructions on whichever boxed mix you’ve picked.
  • Once it’s baked and is beginning to cool, you need to poke holes all over with the bottom of a wooden spoon. Hint: if you want to get kids involved in the holiday baking this is a fun thing for them to do!
  • Then, mix up your filling by whisking together pudding mix and milk. Pour that over the cake so that it pours into the holes. Use a spatula to spread it out evenly and then let it sit in the fridge to set up.
  • Lastly, we make the topping which is simply heavy cream, whipped up until it forms peaks. Spread that on top and cover in sprinkles.
