The recipe doesn’t say when to add the egg
Hey Ginger, it’s used to brush the bread before baking. Step three in the recipe card.
Awesome bread. My whole family loves it!
I wanted the recipe for 3 ingredient bread but could not find it.
Can this recipe be used in a bread maker?
can this mixture be used in a breadmaker?
Bake until golden brown? Any advice on approximately long that might be?
It took us awhile to realize how much yeast was really needed here. It would be helpful if there was some sort of punctuation between and 1 and 1/4. At first we thought we needed a total of 1 and 1/4 ounces of yeast instead of one packet that was 1/4 ounce!
I am diabetic, can I use a sugar substitute instead of regular sugar, honey ?
I have never tried this, but let me know how it turns out.
Can you use all purpose flour?
How much yeast in this recipe?
Thanks!
A small package of yeast typically holds 2.25 teaspoons of yeast.
I’m sure this will be easy and taster fantastic. Hope to find bread flour. Last I heard at our Walmart there were police ,not security, police, guarding the toilet paper , flour, cleaning supplies, and pasta !
Wow!
We are sheltering in place (Bay Area, mandatory) and I have all purpose flour but not bread flour. Will this work?
Hi. I used to make Yeast bread years ago With all purpose flour and it worked fine. Maybe the bread flour results in a better consistency, but not absolutely necessary.
This sounds so simple – I don’t keep canola oil on hand, would EVO or Avocado oil work? If not I have butter I think.
I have a bread making machine. Do I put all the ingredients in at one time?
In place of Canola oil can you use vegetable oil?
