The Ingredients
Here’s what you’ll need to make a air fryer pizzas (the exact measurements and full recipe instructions are below in the easy to print recipe card):
- Grands Biscuits – buy the type with flaky layers because they will be easy to separate each biscuit into two pieces.
- Pizza sauce – find my best homemade pizza sauce recipe here.
- Italian sausage – you can buy the sausage fully cooked and crumbled and all ready to use, or buy it raw and cook it with a little olive oil before making pizzas.
- Pepperoni
- Shredded mozzarella cheese – another option would be to use pizza blend cheese.
How To Cook Pizza In The Air Fryer
- Open the package of biscuits and separate each biscuit into two layers. Roll each piece of biscuit out into a 4-inch circle.
- Top each dough circle with about 2 teaspoons of pizza sauce.
- Add a couple of slices of pepperoni to each pizza.
- Next, add some of the sausage to each pizza.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over top of each pizza.
- Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray. Gently transfer 2-4 of the pizzas to the basket, leaving about 1 inch of space between each. The number of pizzas you can cook at once will depend on how large the air fryer is.
- Air fry the pizzas at 400° for 4 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove the pizzas from the basket and cool slightly on a wire cooling rack. Repeat the cooking process with the remaining pizzas.

Make You Own Pizza Bar
For a fun party, pizza night, kids sleepover, or birthday celebration, make a mini pizza bar! Prep the pizza crusts and place at the beginning of the bar, then line up toppings with the sauce first, then all of the various topping options, and finally the cheese. Place the pizzas into the air fryer and cook a few at a time.
How to Store Leftovers
Keep the leftover pizzas in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. We used a zip-top bag and it worked really well. Reheat the pizzas in the microwave or air fryer in 30-second heating intervals until warm.
Can i use Homemade Pizza Dough?
Absolutely! Homemade pizza dough is easy to make and our recipe tastes fantastic. Use biscuit dough when you need a quick dinner/snack and homemade dough for when you have the extra time.
How to make Frozen Pizza in the Air Fryer
Yes! You can make a frozen pizza in the air fryer. You’ll want to check the times and temperatures suggested on your pizza packaging and reduce the temperature and time suggested. For example, if the box suggests cooking at 450F for 10-12 minutes in a conventional oven, then you’ll want to cook it at 380F for 8-10 minutes in my air fryer.

I am a private chef/caterer and my 2.5 year oven broke just over 2 weeks ago. So I challenged myself to go no oven until my birthday in February and use only my air fryer, crockpot, IP, and electric skillet. I have a PowerXL so it is a bit different and cannot hold a full pizza. My kids LOVE pizza and tonight I am hosting my son’s best friend and my daughter’s boyfriend so I am going to make these! Thanks for the inspo!
Thanks Nichol! Hope they turn out great!
Wonder if you could use crescent rolls made in a larger circle
I don’t have an Air Fryer. How else can I cook them
I don’t either and wanted to know the same thing. Don’t see it any where. Am thinking of doing it and just putting them in the oven for maybe 10 minutes. I think it should work.
So delicious!! It was quick and very kid friendly
Easy recipe, fun and delicious
My kids & I are making these today!
I will have to try this soon. It will save me money on pizzas.
yummy
These were delicious. Thanks for the inspiration.
looks really good
I (at age 53) got braces a few months ago) and struggle with thick, tough pizza crusts. This looks like just the ticket. (And I love that you put broccoli on the one picture. My favorite pizza of all time is broccoli and cauliflower and tomato…and no, I’m not vegetarian. I just have good taste. The roasted veggies become so good when they brown in the oven.)
I love veggies on pizza especially roasted eggplant.
Thank everyone for all the wonderful gifts
Thank goodness I was just letting you know that we are doing a great work
My husband loved these!!! Have to admit, they are pretty darn good. The hardest part of this is getting it off the wax paper after I rolled it. Will make again!
I tried these, and they are so GOOD! I love adding whatever veggies I want, and my kids don’t fight with me over the toppings. It’s a nice change to using English muffins. Thanks for the idea!
Fast and easy!
This is a great idea, I opted for real mozzarella and it was really good! The first batch was a little doughy so I cooked them for 6 mins and they were spot on. Great recipe!
Another bread that makes great mini pizzas are English Muffins. Used to make them when I needed a quick lunch or snack for the children.
That sounds wonderful! I don’t have an air fryer….. Can I do this in the oven?
Yes
Cool at what temp and for how long?
I bake according to the instructions on the container when using a conventional oven.
Same temp and time in the oven??
