I made this today and it’s absolutely delicious! I’ll be making it again! I wish I could add pictures because it turned out beautifully! I added some of the brown sugar and cinnamon to the apples in the middle and served it warm with some vanilla ice cream. Mmmmm

Although delicious the batter spilled over my standard 8 inch loaf pan. Could smell burning put pan to catch overspill. I noticed you say it’s a 8 inch loaf loaf but yours is not filled nearly as much as mine. Are you using standard loaf pans?

    1. Sorry Janice. Yes, this uses a standard 8.5″ loaf pan. The batter and apples will usually fill approximately 2/3 of the pan and maybe a little more. We have used a 9″ with this as well.

20 minutes for preparing ingredients is WAY OFF in my opinion; other than that it is GREAT! Thank you. Planning on making it for Thanksgiving & gifts for Christmas!

    1. Thanks Jenny. Yes, I can see that the prep time would be longer if you are preparing your apples as well. I will adjust that info. Thanks!
