  • Sweetened flaked coconut
  • Sweetened condensed milk
  • Almond extract
  • Eggs
  •  Salt
  • White chocolate chips
  • Cadbury mini eggs

How to Make Coconut Macaroons

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, add the coconut, condensed milk, salt, and almond extract. Stir until combined.

  • Using a mixer,  beat the egg whites until they form stiff peaks.

  • Gently fold the egg whites into the coconut mixture.

  • Drop the macaroon batter in generous tablespoonfuls about 1 inch apart onto the baking sheet.

  • Press your thumb into the center of the macaroon to form the shape of a nest.
  • Bake the cookies for 25 minutes, until they are set and delicate brown.

  • Put the white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 30 second intervals stirring between them until the chips have melted.

How to Store Macaroons?

  • Bake for 25 minutes, until set and delicate brown.
