Looks delicious, but we are unable to tolerate milk. Is Soy milk a good substitute or what do you recommend?

I was wondering if the pan size is correct? I used 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 Aluminum disposable pan and it cooked over.
It taste delicious , but just didn’t look pretty I was going to give as a gift.

Omg this recipe is by far Amazing! Taste exactly like a fritter, the bread is moist and is so good while warm. Family gobbled it up in minutes. A keeper for sure, nice holiday bread too.
I made this. Was much more moist then expected. I would suggest getting the apples ready before starting dough.
quite yummy. Have you ever made it with other fruits and nuts?
Martha, we have not but I’m sure there are other variations that would be great.

This was a delicious recipe and easy to make. I especially enjoyed it with a bit of salted butter on a slice. Especially good with a little salted butter on a slice
What kind of apples are best?
Monica, I usually use Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.
Salted butter?
We usually use unsalted for baking, but since this recipe doesn’t use salt you should be fine.
