We love making cookie bars! Not only are they easier to make than cookies, but I love the texture. When cut, the squares are a bit thicker than a standard cookie, resulting in a soft but firm dough that’s in between a cookie and blondies. - Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream the butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
- Add in the dry ingredients and combine.
- Mix in the Oreo cookie pieces and sprinkles.
- Spread the cookie dough into a baking pan and bake 40 minutes, or until golden brown.

Storing

Oreo Cookie Bars
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted sweet cream butter melted
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 /2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 16 Oreo cookies chopped
- 1/4 cup colored sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Using a standing mixer, cream together the melted butter, sugar and brown sugar until combined.
- Mix in the eggs and egg yolk one at a time, mixing well after each egg. Mix in the vanilla.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt.
- Gradually stir dry ingredients into the wet until completely combined. Mix in chocolate chips and sprinkles.
- Spread the batter into the 9×13 baking dish and push in the chopped Oreo's.
- Bake 40 minutes or until edges just begin to turn golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting and enjoying.
