What To Serve with Honey Bourbon Steak Tips?

I love serving this recipe over a bed of rice or mashed potatoes. You can also serve this dish with other sides like; Healthy Broccoli Salad, Mashed Potato Puffs, or Green Bean Stuffing. You can enjoy it with dipping sauces like Crockpot Queso Blanco Dip, ranch, bbq sauce, etc.

Tips & Tricks

  • Place the leftovers in an airtight container for the best storage method for up to 3 days.
  • For a bit of spice, you can add some red pepper flakes.
  • Use apple juice or beef broth as a substitute for bourbon if you need to or you want to leave it out.
  • If the sauce is too thin at the end of cooking, combine the water with the cornstarch and stir that into the sauce to thicken it up.
  • If you typically add salt, wait until the end to ensure it is not too salty.
  • A simple way to enhancing the flavor is to use the sauce a marinade. Place the steak tips in the sauce 30 minute up to 24 hours, in a bowl or seal top bag. Place it in the refrigerator until it is time to cook. Be sure to squeeze the excess marinade into the slow cooker with the steak cubes

This is absolutely delish! Omg…the meat is super tender. Melts in your mouth. Very savory!

    1. Hi Gloria. You can use the cornstarch if you would like to thicken the sauce when they are done cooking. You can remove the steak bites and whisk the corn starch in the sauce and let cook for about 10 minutes and then add the steak back in.
